Issue Overview

Technology and Innovation Policy

When we look ahead, 5G is the next big thing.

The only thing that can stand in the way is a big government effort to nationalize this new technology. They want to choose one source as the SOLE source of 5G tech.

We have seen the tremendous success of 4G already, and that success is because of our vibrant marketplace.

When America has businesses competing to see who can be first, who can go the furthest, and who can be the best out there, the options are limitless. That was true with the 4G and it will certainly true when it comes to 5G as well.

Our networks can only continue to improve with a free, robust marketplace - not overregulated, "sole source" government control.

Let's do the right thing and keep the government OUT of 5G.
